“Pilates movements inform us. They present us with new possibilities and choices in the way we move. It's such a delight to witness those light-bulb moments, the ones where you, the student, find strength, fluidity, precision and grace , and most importantly, freedom in movement”

I have been practicing and teaching The Pilates Method for over 20 years. My training began with Contemporary PIlates Matwork at The Place. I continued with a bridging course in studio equipment with Dominique Jansen at Pilates Off The Square, London. Both teachers were founding members of The Pilates Foundation, and all certifications are under this body of teaching. I qualified in 2003, after many years of competitive swimming.

Since qualifying, I have gone on to study with many renown teachers in other forms of movement. These include Gyrotonic, Gyrokinesis, Feldenkrais, Yoga and Garuda. Yoga has played a significant part in my life and I have spent at least 15 years studying with John Stirk.

In more recent years, since having children, I have combined my passion for Pilates with Martial Arts and developed a practice in Traditional Wing Chun, Qi Gong and White Crane Kung Fu.

I teach intuitively, blending Eastern and Western movement disciplines. Every class is slightly different and unique with prep work that feeds in to inform movements from the classical repertoire. My goal is to help you find success in your movement, freedom in your body.

Expect to be challenged, greatly encouraged, and most importantly to have fun
